Nathan Ho

Nathan Ho (he/him) is a composer, pianist, electronic musician, audio technology specialist, and software developer. Recurring elements in his music include restless genre surfing, a preference for maximalism and high information density, and heavy use of DIY hardware and software. Building his own tools is equally important to his practice as making music: he has designed custom audio DSP algorithms, homemade synthesizers, and generative music systems. A firm believer in open source music technology, he is a maintainer of SuperCollider, a free platform for sound synthesis and algorithmic composition.
