Travis Ciortan

Travis Ciortan (he/him) is a Los Angeles based tenor vocalist and is currently attending the California Institute of the Arts for a BFA in Voice Arts. Travis is especially skilled in jazz improvisation and pop vocals, beginning his music journey singing in Vocal Jazz groups J-Train and synergy at Fullerton College. Travis is also classically trained with a repertoire that includes Bach, Schubert, Fauré, Berio and others. At the California Institute of the Arts, Travis also studied various extended vocal techniques and has performed contemporary experimental vocal music and Opera. Travis’ focus is to use non-traditional vocal techniques paired with improvisation in a pop music idiom.
